Power and powerlessness in the digital age

According to the revelations of Edward Snowden, the Government District near the Brandenburg Gate was the focal point for surveillance and spying on the population. A temporary installation at this location marks the fundamental questions of power and powerlessness in the digital age.

Participative Independent Network

Everyone was invited to participate in the network with ones own WLAN enabled devices. Phone calls, chats and file sharing are possible, all of that regardless of Internet and mobile service providers.

Over 15'000 messages have been sent over this network.
